SKA will use a point system this season rather than our usual best 10 fish for the season to determine Angler of the Year. It is simply a 100 point system . Winner of an event will receive 100 points ... 2nd place 99 ... 3rd 98 ... and on down the line in 1 point increments. That is based on at a 20 angler turnout. Less than 20 anglers will have a "curve" applied in 1 point increments for each angler less than 20. 19 anglers would award 99 points to the winner and work down from there. 10 angler turnout would award 90 points to the winner and so on ... No upward curve for over 20 anglers.
Total points from your best 4 finishes will be your AOY score for the season. Highest total wins ... tiebreaker will revert back to the longest total length for your best 10 fish of the season.
You can fish all the tourneys or only the 4 event minimum. You can also fish with other participating clubs which is covered in the 2014 Format thread.
